Carnaval 2005 |

 On 4th February we celebrated “Carnival”, This year the topic was about Cervantes’s “Don Quijote de la Mancha”. Students and teachers were dressed up as Cervantes, wind mills, giants, Don Quijote, Dulcinea, and many other characters from this master piece. Like in previous years we celebrated it in the gym, and enjoyed some singing and dancing. Besides, two teachers dressed up as Dulcinea and Don Quijote and acted as compares for the show; it was very funny!! Many families joined us to see the show. And we were lucky enough to also enjoy the fabulous dancing of some mothers from the AMPA, who made their own costumes, which were awesome!! Today, we are still discussing who enjoyed the event more; the children, the teachers or the parents…In any case every single one of us has wonderful memories of this day in which we all become children again. |
El cuatro de febrero celebramos la fiesta de carnaval. Este
año el motivo central ha sido "Don Quijote de la Mancha". Pudimos ver molinos, gigantes, Don Quijotes, Sanchos, Dulcineas, y muchos otros personajes. Lo celebramos en el gimnasio como otros años, y allí todos pudimos disfrutar del desfile de Carnaval. También hubo canciones, bailes, pregón y una Dulcinea y un Don quijotes muy divertidos que fueron presentando los desfiles de las distintas clases. Pudieron asistir gran número de familias y ver a sus hijos . También tuvimos la suerte de disfrutar con los bailes de las madres del AMPA, vestidas con trajes muy trabajados para la ocasión. Realmente espectacular.
