The Bilingual Program is taking place in the entire Primer Ciclo, Segundo Ciclo  and Tercer Ciclo of Primary Education, following the curriculum laid out by the Comunidad de Madrid. It has also been extended into Pre-school classes in order for the pupils to become accustomed to English.

The students participating in the Bilingual Program receive approximately a third of their lessons in English: five hours of English as Foreign Language and three and a half to four hours of Social Studies/Science taught in English. In addition, throughout the year we carry out projects related to holidays and Anglo-Saxon culture, as well as complementary activities (theatre trips, concerts, etc.) to expose the children to the English Language.

The great effort put forth by the teachers in past years has produced results which have met our expectations. From this the children have achieved a good level of English.

This encourages us greatly as we begin the new academic year, with excitement and the desire to continue raising the quality of teaching in State School system.

Saint Patrick's Day

On March 17th

INFORMATION

On March 17th we celebrated the Irish holiday of St. Patrick’s Day.

All the teachers and students went out to the playground in their costumes and green suits to the rhythm of the bagpipe played by David, the music teacher.

The students from 1st and 2nd cycles danced the “St. Patrick’s day polka” and the students from the 3rd cycle sang the song “Molly Malone”

Finally, the nursery school students paraded around the playground followed all the elementary school students.

It was a beautiful celebration. Thank you all for your help.
