	Halloween	Noche de difuntos
	About 2000 years ago, people called Celts lived in Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Their new year began on the 1^st of November, so 31^st October was New Year's Eve. The Celts believed that ghosts and witches walked the earth on the 31^st of October. These spirits terrified the Celts, so they disguised so the spirits wouldn't recognize them. For the Romans, the 1^st of November was a holy day called "All Hallows" and the 31^st of October was "All Hallows' Eve". That's HALLOWEEN!!!	La palabra "Halloween" tiene sus orígenes en la Iglesia Católica. Es una contracción de la oración en inglés "All Hallows Eve" que significa "El Día de Todos los Santos" y es una fiesta religiosa católica que se celebra el 1de noviembre. En el siglo V a.C., en la Irlanda de los Celtas, el 31 de octubre se celebraba el festival de de Samhain que conmemoraba el final del verano y el inicio de un nuevo año. Al caer la noche, se celebraba la fiesta de los muertos, así que los espíritus salían y rondaban por toda la tierra. Para apaciguarlos, se hacían hogueras enormes y los druidas hacían conjuros. Se decía que durante esa noche los hechizos y la magia eran más potentes que en cualquier otro día.

	Our school decided to celebrated Halloween creating four different workshops, one for each cycle. Our experiences were the following:	Decidimos celebrar Halloween creando cuatro talleres diferentes, uno para cada ciclo. Estas fueron nuestra experiencias:

	Infantil

	This day pre-school´s children enjoyed listening to "Pocholo" the wizard his stories and tricks of halloween. At the end the Wizard shared out sweets and chocolates for all children. The children and the teachers dressed up as pumpkins, wizards and witches.	Este día todos los niños de infantil disfrutamos con las historias y trucos del Brujo "Pocholo". Durante la semana preparamos nuestros disfraces de "calabazas" con la ayuda de los "profes". Al final el Brujo nos repartió a todos caramelos y chocolatinas.

	Primaria Primer Ciclo

	The story about Halloween titled TRICK OR TREAT was told the children in First Cycle. They understood and enjoyed it a lot during this time. In this way, their tutors were helping to create a mobile, made with different pictures about Halloween.	El cuento de Halloween titulado TRUCO O TRATO se contó a los niños del Primer Ciclo. Lo comprendieron y lo disfrutaron muchísimo. Así mismo, sus tutores estaban ayudando a crear el móvil, hecho con diferentes dibujos sobre Halloween.

	Primaria Segundo Ciclo

	"Once upon a time there was a big castle with a very beautiful Princess..." That's the way the story begins with an ugly Witch who will make a terrible spell, a fat King worried about her daughter, and a collection of brave Knights who will fight against the Spider and are longing to marry the Beauty. At the end the Old Man, just in confusion, will defeat the Evil.	Con la magia del teatro bastan unos pocos personajes y un poco de atrezzo para entrar en otro mundo, habitado esta vez por una Bruja (la única concesión a Halloween de esta historia), una Princesa presumida y unos Caballeros que pretenden derrotar el Mal. Al final es un pobre hombre anciano el que da un giro inesperado a la historia. ¡Ven al teatro!

	Primaria Tercer Ciclo

	As for the third cycle pupils we created a painting workshop. Our workshop was about make-up. Children had to paint each other in a terrific way. They had some painted faces models to copy from, but some of them decided to improvise and add their own ideas. Here goes some examples of the painted faces they did.	En el tercer ciclo creamos un taller de maquillaje. Los niños tenían que maquillarse los unos a los otros con motivos de Halloween. Tenían algunas fotografías de caras maquilladas como modelo pero algunos decidieron improvisar y crear sus propias caras terroríficas. Aquí van algunos ejemplos de sus creaciones.
