LOCATION
The Instituto de Educación Secundaria "Miguel Delibes" is located in the neighbourhood called "las Moreras", district of Ciudad Lineal. Madrid.
SCHOOL POPULATION
The students come almost always from the neighbourhood, in the last years the total amount is over four hundred.
THE SCHOOL
Our school is a long building made with briks which is closed to IES Barrio de Bilbao, another school mainly dedicated to professional tuition. We started working in the schoolar year 1978 - 79. It is possible to study with us the differents levels or cycles of the spanish education system: E.S.O. (Compulsory Secundary Education. Students aged 12 - 16), Bachillerato (High School 16 - 18) plus a Superior Cycle of Commercial Management and Marketing (Superior vocational education +18). Our school have the following facilities:

In our school work four clerks in the main office, four janitors, a managing team formed by four teachers and a aprox. fifty teachers staff.
NEIGHBOURHOOD
The school is at ten minutes walking from the underground station "García Noblejas" and quite closed to the bus stops of lines 106, 70, 4, 38, 48 and 109, It is also near from the exit "Avda. de Daroca" in the highway M-40. In the neighbourhood there are parks and many cultural and sports public institutions.
