The name of our organisation PAIDEIA goes back the ancient Greeks and it stands for a theory in education which means training through philosophy and science.

Our organisation has as a main goal providing support and assistance to single parent families with the education of their children.

Our objectives are as follows:

The kind of activities our organisation usually comes up with are:

various courses, group activities with a view to preventing juvenile delinquency, drugs, suicide, bringing out booklets, looking for and after single parent families badly in need for help

Departments within our organisation are:Research , Educational Programs, Counselling and Social Assistance, Parents and Pupils

Projects successfully developed in then past are: Help the poor children learn’, ‘Here comes Santa Claus’, ‘Let’s communicate efficiently’, ‘ Celebration of the 8th March’.

Present projects

Children’s Club has as a main aim socialising children and enhancing self confidence.

Communication guarantees success’ has as a main objective identifying the barriers in communication, lowering inhibition and using communication efficiently to achieve good performances

Projects to come ‘ Choose you career’ has as a goal offering guidance to young people from single parent families with their options in finding suitable jobs.

‘Baby –sitter ,an option!’ aims at training about 160-200 students from single parent families to become baby sitters and thus earn some extra money . The organisation also wishes to make sure these young people go for the right families and that families themselves are happy with the appointed baby-sitters.

‘Holly Easter comes in single parent families too’ is a project that wants to organise for about 50 students a special lecture about Easter time and to offer them gifts on Easter.

Our organisation strongly praises communication as means of reaching one another .The organisation’s logo is the potent symbol of the bridge as people should start building bridges rather than walls in order to foster genuine communication. So if we were to have a slogan representing us that would definitely be ‘ Build bridges not walls!’
